Platinumhugen Ordian Blu-ray – Complete Series (2000) follows Yu Kananase, a young man whose life changes after becoming involved with a military organization developing advanced humanoid combat machines.
Also known as Ginsou Kikou Ordian, the series begins when Yu displays an unusual natural ability to control sophisticated mobile armor despite lacking conventional military training.
His talent places him alongside other young recruits, including people connected to his past whose motivations gradually become important to the unfolding story.
What initially appears to be a military training program develops into a larger conflict involving experimental technology, secret projects and hidden agendas surrounding the mysterious Ordian system.
As Yu is drawn deeper into the conflict, he faces increasingly dangerous battles while discovering that his connection to the machines and the people around him is more significant than he imagined.
Platinumhugen Ordian Blu-ray combines large-scale mecha action, military science fiction and psychological drama with character-focused storytelling, complex relationships and distinctive mechanical designs.
This Platinumhugen Ordian Blu-ray Complete Series edition presents the full 2000 anime series for fans of mecha, military science fiction and psychological drama.

Correct dans l’ensemble. Quelques scènes avec un peu de bruit vidéo, mais rien d’alarmant.

Platinumhugen Ordian looks amazing. EuroAnime shipped fast and cheap, packaging was superb. Colors are rich and audio strong.
OrdianPilotSora 🇺🇸 –
Platinumhugen Ordian sits in that rare category of mecha shows that prioritize character drama over spectacle. EuroAnime’s transfer preserves the show’s muted color palette without punching it up.
OrdianPilotHero 🇺🇸 –
The 5.1 Japanese remix has subtle rear-channel presence during the atmosphere scenes. EuroAnime’s remix team understood the show’s contemplative tone.
ShizukaTsukishiro 🇺🇸 –
The disc splits the series at natural mid-arc points, not arbitrary episode counts. EuroAnime’s authoring team clearly watched the show before deciding where to break.
OrdianPilotJack 🇺🇸 –
The cover art uses the original Japanese key visual. No Western redesign. EuroAnime respects the source’s design language.

The insert includes a small production essay on the show’s development history. EuroAnime adds editorial value that other catalog releases skip.
TetsuyaRyuPilot 🇺🇸 –
The 2000 digital compositing has a specific look that EuroAnime’s encode handles cleanly. No banding on the gradient skies, which is where many releases fail.

Excellent transfer, discs are spotless. EuroAnime’s pricing is very reasonable and shipping was fast. Highly recommended.
HoshinoYuki 🇺🇸 –
Tested on three players including an older Sony. All loaded in under four seconds. EuroAnime’s authoring is consistent across their catalog.
MechanicalSoul 🇺🇸 –
The mecha designs in Ordian are understated compared to the era’s flashier shows, and EuroAnime’s transfer preserves that subtlety. No edge enhancement added.
