The Dark Crystal Age of Resistance Blu-ray – Complete Series (2019)

The Dark Crystal Age of Resistance Blu-ray – Complete Series (2019) follows Rian, Brea and Deet as they uncover a growing threat to the world of Thra and begin a resistance against the powerful Skeksis.

Set before the events of The Dark Crystal, the series explores an earlier period in Thra’s history when the Gelfling clans live across different regions under the rule of the Skeksis.

For generations, the Skeksis have maintained their authority while presenting themselves as protectors of the Crystal of Truth and the world surrounding it.

Rian is a Gelfling guard whose discovery of a terrible secret forces him to question everything he has been taught about the rulers of Thra.

Brea is a curious and intelligent princess whose search for answers leads her toward ancient knowledge, hidden symbols and mysteries connected to the Crystal.

Deet lives among the Grottan clan and develops a unique connection to the natural world, allowing her to sense a spreading corruption that threatens the balance of Thra.

The Dark Crystal Age of Resistance Blu-ray follows these three characters as their separate journeys gradually become part of the same struggle.

The Skeksis have begun exploiting the power of the Crystal in an attempt to preserve their own lives, but their actions are creating dangerous consequences throughout the land.

A mysterious corruption known as the Darkening begins spreading through Thra, affecting creatures, environments and the natural balance of the world.

Rian, Brea and Deet each discover different pieces of the truth and realize that the Gelfling clans must be warned before the damage becomes impossible to stop.

Their journeys take them through ancient kingdoms, forests, caves and forgotten locations filled with unusual creatures and secrets from Thra’s past.

The Dark Crystal Age of Resistance Blu-ray combines dark fantasy, adventure and political conflict with a richly developed world of Gelfling, Skeksis and other inhabitants of Thra.

The Gelfling clans have different traditions, leaders and priorities, making cooperation difficult even when the threat facing them becomes increasingly clear.

Some characters continue to trust the Skeksis, while others begin questioning the authority that has controlled their world for generations.

As evidence of the Skeksis’ actions spreads, resistance slowly begins to form among people who once believed challenging their rulers was impossible.

Rian becomes increasingly involved in this growing rebellion as he attempts to convince others that the danger is real.

Brea’s investigation reveals more about the history of Thra and the deeper forces connected to the Crystal of Truth.

Deet’s connection to the Darkening gives her a unique understanding of the catastrophe spreading through the natural world.

The Dark Crystal Age of Resistance Blu-ray explores courage, rebellion, friendship and sacrifice while showing how individuals from very different backgrounds can become united by a common purpose.

Political rivalries and divisions between the Gelfling clans add another layer to the conflict as the characters attempt to build an alliance capable of opposing the Skeksis.

The series also explores corruption and the consequences of rulers using power primarily to preserve their own position.

Ancient knowledge and forgotten history become increasingly important as the heroes search for a way to understand both the Crystal and the forces threatening Thra.

The Skeksis remain at the center of the crisis, using manipulation, fear and political control to prevent the Gelfling from discovering the truth.

The Dark Crystal Age of Resistance Blu-ray presents the complete 2019 series for viewers interested in dark fantasy, epic adventure, mythology and immersive world-building.
