Project A-Ko Collection Blu-ray (1986) follows A-Ko Magami, an energetic schoolgirl with extraordinary strength whose new school life quickly turns into a chaotic science-fiction adventure.
A-Ko begins her new life alongside her cheerful best friend, C-Ko Kotobuki, but their everyday routine soon becomes complicated by the arrival of the brilliant and highly competitive B-Ko Daitokuji.
Determined to separate the two friends, B-Ko uses her intelligence and advanced technology to create increasingly powerful machines capable of challenging A-Ko.
What begins as an exaggerated school rivalry rapidly expands into a much larger conflict involving giant robots, military forces, futuristic technology and unexpected extraterrestrial visitors.
A-Ko’s incredible strength places her at the center of increasingly spectacular confrontations as ordinary school situations escalate into enormous battles.
The story combines fast pacing, absurd humor and explosive action while parodying many familiar conventions of science-fiction, mecha and school anime.
Project A-Ko Collection Blu-ray combines science fiction, comedy, school rivalry and action with a colorful cast, elaborate mechanical designs and energetic visual storytelling.
The series balances character comedy with large-scale battles, advanced machines and increasingly unusual situations involving A-Ko, B-Ko and C-Ko.
Project A-Ko Collection Blu-ray presents the 1986 anime adventure for viewers interested in classic science-fiction comedy, giant robots, school action and Japanese animation.
This Project A-Ko Collection Blu-ray edition brings together the energetic world of A-Ko, C-Ko and B-Ko in a collection filled with comedy, rivalry and spectacular action.

Project A-Ko’s animation density is legendary for an 80s OVA and EuroAnime’s transfer doesn’t cut corners. Every frame resolves fully, even during the wildest action sequences.

Project A-Ko is one of the most energetic OVAs ever made. Transfer preserves that energy. Animation quality is exceptional for its era.

The 5.1 Japanese remix is discrete but respectful – preserves the original stereo imaging while adding slight presence to the action scenes. EuroAnime’s remix team delivered.
