The Dark Crystal Complete Saga Blu-ray – Movie & Series Collection brings together the original fantasy adventure and The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance in one collection exploring the history, mythology and conflicts of Thra.
The world of Thra is a mystical land shaped by ancient creatures, powerful civilizations and the mysterious Dark Crystal, whose condition is directly connected to the balance of the world.
In The Dark Crystal, Jen is a young Gelfling raised far from the dangers threatening Thra. His life changes when an ancient prophecy sends him on a journey to restore the damaged Crystal.
Jen must recover a missing shard and return it before the Great Conjunction, an event capable of determining the future of the entire world.
During his journey, he meets Kira, another Gelfling whose courage and knowledge become essential as they travel through dangerous regions and uncover the truth surrounding the Crystal.
Their greatest enemies are the Skeksis, sinister rulers who have corrupted the Crystal’s power and used it to maintain control over Thra.
The Dark Crystal Complete Saga Blu-ray also includes The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, which explores an earlier period in the history of Thra.
The story follows a new generation of Gelfling who begin discovering disturbing secrets behind the rule of the Skeksis.
What initially appears to be an isolated discovery gradually reveals a much larger threat capable of affecting every clan and creature living across the world.
As the truth spreads, Gelfling from different backgrounds must overcome divisions and learn to work together against an enemy whose influence has shaped Thra for generations.
The growing resistance introduces new characters, locations and cultures while expanding the mythology surrounding the Crystal, the Skeksis and the civilizations connected to them.
The Dark Crystal Complete Saga Blu-ray combines fantasy, adventure, mythology and dramatic storytelling across both the original movie and the Age of Resistance series.
The two stories explore different periods of Thra’s history while remaining connected through the Dark Crystal and the continuing struggle between balance and corruption.
Jen and Kira’s journey represents one part of this larger history, while Age of Resistance reveals events and conflicts that helped shape the world they would later inherit.
Throughout the saga, courage and sacrifice become essential as characters are forced to confront powerful enemies despite overwhelming danger.
The stories also explore resistance, friendship, destiny and the importance of preserving balance in a world where the misuse of power can affect every living being.
The Dark Crystal Complete Saga Blu-ray presents a fantasy world filled with Gelfling, Skeksis, Mystics and other distinctive creatures whose histories are connected to the Crystal.
Its combination of imaginative environments, mythology and character-driven adventure creates a large fantasy narrative spanning different generations and periods of Thra’s history.
The collection brings together stories of discovery, rebellion and restoration while showing how events from the past influence the future of the world.
The Dark Crystal Complete Saga Blu-ray – Movie & Series Collection presents both major stories together for viewers interested in fantasy adventure, mythology, dark fantasy and immersive world-building.

The reverse cover art on the box shows a split composition – the film’s key visual on one side, the series’ on the other. EuroAnime’s design planning is thoughtful.

Tested on four players including a PS3. Both discs loaded in under four seconds. EuroAnime’s compatibility covers older hardware for a release with two very different masters.

GelflingHistorian — The Complete Saga box pairs the 1982 film and the 2019 series, and EuroAnime’s two-disc set uses different masters for each – the film keeps its 35mm grain, the series keeps its digital clarity. No attempt to homogenize them.
Blake N. 🇺🇸 –
The box art uses an ensemble illustration showing Gelflings, Skeksis, and Mystics together – a compositional choice that ties the film and series visually. EuroAnime’s design team understood the franchise.
Ryan J. 🇺🇸 –
The disc splits the film and the series onto their own discs, so the viewing experience for each is preserved without intercutting. EuroAnime’s authoring team made the right call.

The 5.1 audio on both discs maintains consistent channel separation – the film’s theatrical mix and the series’ modern mix are both presented without compromise. EuroAnime’s mastering is careful.
