Vandread Blu-ray – Complete Series (2000)

Vandread Blu-ray – Complete Series (2000) presents all 26 episodes of the science-fiction anime across a 2-disc collection, bringing together the complete Vandread adventure.

The story begins in a distant future where men and women live on separate planets and have developed societies built around generations of conflict and distrust.

Hibiki Tokai is a young man living on the male-controlled planet Taraak, where he works under harsh conditions and dreams of proving himself.

His life changes dramatically when a confrontation involving a military spacecraft places him in the middle of an unexpected battle against female pirates from the planet Mejere.

During the conflict, mysterious technology transforms several ships and machines, forcing former enemies to work together against a much greater threat.

Vandread Blu-ray follows Hibiki as he becomes part of the unusual crew of the Nirvana, a spacecraft carrying both men and women who must overcome their differences in order to survive.

Among the crew is Dita Liebely, an energetic pilot whose fascination with Hibiki creates both comedy and emotional tension as their relationship gradually develops.

Other important characters include Meia Gisborn, a skilled and disciplined fighter, and Jura Basil Elden, whose confidence and personality add another dynamic to the crew.

The pilots use advanced Vanguard machines that can combine with the women’s Dread fighters to create powerful new forms known as Vandreads.
